3G World Congress and Exhibition 2005 -- Explore New Business and Technology Strategies for the Mobile Future

With more than 150 exhibiting companies and more than 160 speakers, the 3G World Congress and Exhibition 2005 opened today in Hong Kong to explore the key emerging trends that will shape the future of 3G and wireless industry. Running from 16 to 18 November, the event expects to lure more than 8,000 international attendees who are set to forge valued partnerships with the exhibitors.




The congress opening ceremony was officiated by Mike Rowse JP, Director-General of Investment Promotion InvestHK; Perry M. LaForge, Executive Director, CDMA Development Group; Dr. Jing Wang, Secretary General, TD-SCDMA Forum, Jean-Pierre Bienaime, Chairman, UMTS Forum and Daniel Kirwin, Managing Director of the 3G World Congress and Exhibition.
