ADVENTIS Appoints Two Senior Leaders in Europe22 October 2005
ADVENTIS, a global consulting firm advising top management in the interrelated sectors of telecom, technology and digital media, today announced two additions to its senior team in Europe.
Effectively immediately, Dr. Horst L. Lennertz will join ADVENTIS as Senior Fellow and a member of its Board of Advisors. Dr. Lennertz has had an extensive career in technology management, having served as the Chief Technology Officer of E-Plus and, after the purchase of E-Plus by KPN, the Dutch Telecom incumbent in 2001, as the CTO of KPN Wireless. Throughout the KPN group, Dr. Lennertz addressed issues related to the 3G-network build-up, fixed-wireless integration and substitution, and defining requirements for the next generation Intelligent Network.
Dr. Lennertz remains a personal advisor to the Board of KPN and is active on a number of boards and committees in Europe including Member of the Board of the Association of the Providers of Telecommunications and Value-Added Services and the Committee on Innovation and Information of the Wirtschaftsrat der CDU e.V.
ADVENTIS also announced that, as of December 1, 2005, Klaus G. von den Hoff will join the German office of ADVENTIS in Berlin as a Vice President. He brings extensive experience and expertise from more than 20 years consulting in and around the telecommunications industry to the firm. Mr. von den Hoff joins ADVENTIS from Mercer Management Consulting, where he was heading Mercer's wireless practice in Europe over several years. As a director of Mercer's telecom and digital business design practice he was serving clients in fixed-line, wireless and ISPs throughout Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Netherlands. Mr. von den Hoff was also a founder of UBM, Mercer's predecessor company in Germany.
