Alltel Wireless Debuts Two LG Handsets with Touch2Talk Capability and TiVo, BellSouth to Co-Market Products

(LG Mobile Phones) recently announced two new handsets equipped with Alltel's innovative and always reliable Touch2Talk walkie-talkie service. The LG AX390 and AX355 handsets are exclusively available from Alltel Wireless. "The LG AX390 and AX355 significantly expand and enhance Alltel's lineup of Touch2Talk wireless phones," said Wade McGill, senior vice president of product management for Alltel. Verizon (NYSE:VZ) recently announced two new marketing campaigns aimed at Hispanic phone customers to generate awareness of the company's new unlimited calling plan and its DSL high-speed Internet access service. Both campaigns were created by La Agencia de Orci & Asociados, one of the top independently owned Hispanic marketing agencies in the United States. "We are very excited to have these two campaigns in the market designed to attract Hispanic customers," said Joe Paz, group marketing manager for Verizon.

Digital video recorder maker TiVo Inc. and telephone service provider BellSouth Corp. (NYSE:BLS) said Thursday they will co-promote their products "in key southeastern markets." The companies said they will promote TiVo's stand-alone box, called TiVo Series2, together with BellSouth's high-speed Internet service. Certain BellSouth FastAccess DSL subscribers will receive special pricing on the TiVo box and service. Buzz Technologies, Inc. (OTC: BZTG) provides shareholders a financial update for the period ending June 2006. Buzz Technologies is now reviewing a number of options in relation to becoming fully reporting; this process given the number of logistical and language issues will not be fast. Management is pleased with the increase in revenue and profits; this quarter has been the first full quarter fully focused on the business without having to deal with take over issues relevant to Affordable Telecommunications.
