Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Receives $1.8 Million of Blue Force Tracking Orders

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ:CMTL) announced today that its Maryland- based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp., has received $1.8 million of orders for its mobile data communications products.

The orders are for the supply of mobile terminal transceivers for Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below - Blue Force Tracking (FBCB2-BFT), a battle command real-time situational awareness command and control system. Although the awards related to the FBCB2-BFT program, they were ordered against the Company's U.S. Army Movement Tracking System (MTS) contract, bringing the total orders received to-date against the $418.2 million contract to $190.8 million.
