ECI Telecom today announced that according to the latest Dell'Oro Group report, ECI is ranked the #2 vendor worldwide for Multiservice Access Concentrators based on shipments in Q3 2005. This category tracks shipments of DSL platforms that deliver multiple broadband services to subscribers. Dell'Oro is one of the leading market research sources for the broadband access market.
ECI shipped over one million DSL ports during the third quarter of 2005. This signifies a strong demand for its Multi-Service Access Gateways, which provide carriers with video, voice and data services on a single platform.
ECI enjoys a clear leadership in the Multiservice Access category both in EMEA and APAC, with its optimally designed support of DSL, PON and voice. In these regions, ECI had the highest shipments of Multiservice Access Concentrator ports in 3Q 2005, making it the #1 vendor in these strategic, fast-growing markets.
