Essex Valley VNA Chooses Power2 Technology Web-based Clinical and Financial Management System to Bring New Efficiencies24 April 2006
Lancaster, Penn. (PRWEB) April 23, 2006 -- Thornberry Ltd. of Lancaster, Pennsylvania and FGA Software Solutions of Piscataway, New Jersey today announced that Essex Valley VNA has officially adopted and begun using power2, a clinical Point of Care and financial information management system for home care agencies. Essex Valley VNA is part of the New Community Corporation in Newark, NJ and provides home healthcare services to Newark residents.
Twenty-five Essex nurses and therapists are now using new touch screen notebook computers to chart in their patients' homes. Previously Essex Valley was using a paper-based clinical system in combination with FGA's standalone financial management application PROPHIT. Staff were required to manually enter data into the financial system.
Recently appointed Executive Director of Essex Valley, Janet Cavallo says she joined the agency with a mandate to introduce modern practices and new technology.
