FairPoint Communications to Release 2005 Fourth Quarter Earnings

FairPoint Communications, Inc. (NYSE: FRP) announced today that it will release its 2005 fourth quarter financial results at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2006. The Company will hold its earnings conference call at 8:30 a.m. (EST) on Tuesday, February 21, 2006.

Participants should call (888) 253-4456 (US/Canada) or (706) 643-3201 (International) at 8:20 a.m. and request the FairPoint Communications 4th Quarter 2005 Earnings Call or Conference ID# 4868243. The recording will be available from Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. through Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at 11:59 p.m. (EST).
