Fusion Launches Valentine's Day Promotion With the Daily News Highlighting Efonica's Mobilink VoIP Service30 January 2007
Fusion Telecommunications International, Inc. (AMEX: FSN), a global VoIP service provider, today announced it has reached an agreement with the Daily News in New York to promote its Efonica VoIP services via a Valentine's Day sweepstakes. One thousand winners will be selected to make a free Efonica call to a family member or loved one anywhere in the world using Efonica's recently launched Mobilink service. The nine day promotion, which kicks off today, gives 1,000 Daily News readers selected at random from all sweepstakes entrants, the opportunity to call anywhere in the world for five minutes using Efonica from their home or mobile phones. The international demographics represented by the nearly 800,000 readers of the Daily News closely mirror Fusion's target market of consumers who communicate frequently with friends and family around the world. "Fusion is very excited to offer this Valentine's Day sweepstakes, promoting our Efonica VoIP services to a large number of potential subscribers. One thousand winners will have the opportunity to experience the quality and simplicity of our revolutionary Efonica Mobilink service," said Matthew Rosen, Fusion's President and CEO. "We believe that this promotion will also raise awareness among international communities of the benefits of Efonica's suite of services." Launched in the fourth quarter of 2006, Efonica's Mobilink allows subscribers to call from their U.S.-based mobile or landline telephones and reach virtually any telephone in the world for up to 80% less than their traditional mobile carriers' costs. In addition, subscribers can use Mobilink to call other Efonica subscribers for free anywhere in the world. Efonica products and services incorporate Fusion's patent-pending Worldwide Internet Area Code(TM), which makes calling simple by allowing subscribers to dial a '10' before an Internet phone number to call other subscribers in-network for free, eliminating the need to introduce any complicated or confusing new dialing patterns. Efonica subscribers are able to use their existing landline or mobile numbers as their Internet phone numbers, with any combination of PCs, Internet phones, regular phones with a SIP adapter or access number and mobile phones with an access number and on wireless, broadband, and dial-up Internet connections. Consumers subscribe to Efonica by visiting http://www.efonica.com and completing an easy registration process.
