HaiVision Appoints Don Lovelace as Vice President of Distance Education Market15 November 2005
HaiVision Systems Inc. (Montreal, Canada) is announcing a reorganization of its US operations to better serve the Distance Education market. Effective November 1, 2005, Mr. Don Lovelace has been appointed as Vice President, Business Development for Distance Education. In this newly created position, Don is responsible for developing and managing all distance education related opportunities and accounts across the USA and for forging strategic partnerships with industry leading vendors to better position HaiVision’s products. Don is very well respected within the distance education market and has a long and successful track record of supporting this market with interactive-video based solutions. Through his years of service with HaiVision, and previously Miranda Media Networks and General DataComm, he has developed the top distance education deployments in the US, including such flagship installations as State of Maine, Albany NERIC and numerous BOCES across New York State served by Verizon and the Development Authority of the North County, all using HaiVision’s acclaimed hai500 series high performance multi stream encoder decoder systems.
