ICG Communications Expands Fiber-Optic Network to Northeast Ohio Cities Hudson, Northfield and Medina Businesses Now Have a Choice for Telecom Service12 January 2006
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Jan. 11 -- ICG Communications (ICG) is now offering telecommunications services to businesses in the Cleveland-Akron area communities of Hudson, Northfield and Medina. These services include local and long distance phone service, converged data/voice services, and Internet access at T-1 speeds and above. Several customers have already been installed.

The available products include Primary Rate Interface (PRI), which is ideal for high call volume businesses such as call centers and service departments; Centrex lines, which offer expanded services such as caller ID, voicemail, and three-way calling without having to invest in new equipment; iConverge(TM), which delivers a company's phone and Internet service over a single T-1; Dedicated Internet Access for businesses requiring dedicated high-speed bandwidth; and Voice over IP (VoIP).
ICG will continue to expand its fiber-optic network and related services in the new year, and plans to offer services to the nearby community of Twinsburg in the first quarter of 2006.
