Marvell Unleashes TopDog(TM) - World's First and Most Powerful 802.11n IEEE Draft Compliant Wireless LAN Solution for Consumer, Enterprise, and Mobile

Marvell (Nasdaq: MRVL), the leader in storage, communications and consumer silicon solutions, today announced the Marvell TopDog(TM) branded family of 802.11n IEEE draft compliant products for consumer, enterprise, and mobile markets. The deployment of NETGEAR products, based on Marvell TopDog Wireless LAN (WLAN) solutions, marks the first volume production of the most powerful WLAN products in the industry. By working closely with industry leading OEMs, Marvell has enabled them to be first to market with 802.11n IEEE draft compliant products.

Marvell is shipping TopDog WLAN silicon, software and reference platforms for:

* Access points -- Fast and Gigabit Ethernet WLAN routers, DSL/cable

triple play gateways

* Client adaptors -- PC/laptop network cards, wireless HDTV adapters and

IP set-top boxes

Marvell TopDog WLAN will also power game consoles, mobile handsets, digital still cameras, camcorders and other emerging consumer devices.
