The Recording Industry Association of NewZealand has appointed Julie Moffett as its new publicrelations & communications director.


Julie joinsRIANZ directly from Media Sauce (compilers of the OfficialNZ Music Chart and operators of the radio and recordingindustry website RadioScope).


She has wide andvaried experience in media including editorship of the radioand recording industry monthly magazine Median Strip;eighteen years in radio where she held announcing,news-reading, producing, and copywriting positions; and as amusic reviewer.


Not only is Julie responsible forRIANZ PR and communications, she also assumes theco-ordination role for the New Zealand Music Awards.
