New Visual Appoints Jack Peckham to Board of Directors6 March 2005
New Visual Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: NVEI) , an emerging provider of semiconductors to the broadband telecommunications industry, announced today that Jack Peckham has been appointed to its Board of Directors. He has joined its audit and compensation committees. The Board has accepted the resignation of Ivan Berkowitz.
Jack Peckham is a founder and director of Heritage Bank of Commerce in San Jose, California, and serves on its audit and compensation committees. He is currently the Chairman and CEO of Broadband Graphics, a company that owns and licenses intellectual property in digital video. From 1985 through 1998, Mr. Peckham held various positions at ATMEL Corporation (http://www.atmel.com/), retiring as its General Manager. ATMEL Corporation, founded in 1984, is a worldwide leader in the design, manufacturing and marketing of advanced semiconductors, including advanced logic, nonvolatile memory, mixed signal and RF integrated circuits. Its revenues in 2004 were $1.6 billion. He received an MA and a BA in Finance and marketing from Burdette College, Boston.
