OpenClovis Helps Telecom Equipment Designers Build Next-Generation Carrier- Grade, AdvancedTCA- and COTS-based Systems

OpenClovis Inc., the provider of the premier open source, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) application service platform for the telecommunications industry, announced it will present a series of half-day seminars and live demonstrations on "Building AdvancedTCA- and COTS-Based Systems". The program is for architects, engineers and others designing next-generation telecom systems.

The Summer Series will kick off on Tuesday, July 25, 2006, 9:00 a.m. -1:30 p.m. PDT, in Santa Clara, and will travel to Boston and to the Ottawa area in August. In this presentation, OpenClovis engineers will demonstrate how to achieve platform manageability and high availability in mission-critical environments on AdvancedTCA- and COTS-based systems through efficient development and cost benefits of COTS components at the service platform level.
