"The ability to record cell phone conversations has always meant plugging in a bulky extra piece of equipment to your phone," said a spokesperson for the website. "The service available through our site not only allows cell phone conversations to be recorded without extra hardware, it even lets the user access and play back the conversations from any computer with an internet connection."
Purchased as a service much like a pre-paid phone card, the user's cell phone conversations are re-routed through a telecommunications switch and digitally recorded. The call can then be played back either by dialing in to an account, much like a voicemail system, or accessed via the Internet from a computer.
"This type of service would be a great asset for professionals constantly on the go," the spokesperson continued. "Lawyers, doctors, real estate agents, or anyone who relies heavily on cell phones to conduct business while out in the field and isn't in a position to write down details while driving, for example."
