SavaJe Technologies Granted Multiple Patents for Components of its Mobile Operating Platform

SavaJe Technologies, the developer of the first open, Java(TM)-based mobile operating platform, today announced it has been granted three patents by the United States Patent and Trademark Office for components of its next-generation mobile operating platform. U.S. Patent Nos. 7,002,604, 6981,120 and 6,864,899 will give mobile handset manufacturers and software developers a competitive advantage by optimizing memory management and processing requirements in mobile devices.

The granted patents cover key methods for manipulation of images on mobile phone displays, advanced techniques for memory management, and low-level graphics component management.
