SCB Solutions, Inc. Delivers Strong Logical Access as an HID iCLASS Development Partner Program7 June 2005
Protecting access to workstations and networks is vital to the protection of company assets in today’s corporate environment. To meet that need, SCB Solutions, Inc. has joined HID Corporation’s iCLASS Development Partner Program.
SCB Solutions, Inc. offers SCB Access™ as an affordable solution for Secure Logon and Single Sign-On applications. A user can access a PC or an application by inserting a smart card and a PIN code. With SCB Access™, user names and passwords are securely encrypted and stored on a smart card. User names and passwords are then submitted automatically to the appropriate applications. Users need to remember only one password to unlock their smart card.
Physical and logical access are converging into identification security programs that reduce the need for separate and conflicting process in the issuance, infrastructure and management of employee ID. The HID iCLASS platform helps to bring about more integrated ID and authentication programs.
