SecureLogix Ranked as the 252nd Fastest Growing Technology Company in the 2005 Deloitte Technology Fast 50025 October 2005
SecureLogix Corporation, a leading enterprise telephony security and management company, today announced that it ranked Number 252 on the 2005 Deloitte Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America. In addition to the ranking on Deloitte's Technology Fast 500, SecureLogix ranked number 18 on the Texas Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology firms in Texas. Rankings are based on the percentage revenue growth over five years from 2000-2004. SecureLogix grew 629% during this period.
SecureLogix CEO Lee Sutterfield credits this high revenue growth rate to pioneering technology development work, coupled with strong sales and marketing execution. "We are obviously quite pleased to be ranked so highly among our peers as one of the world's fastest growing technology companies," said Sutterfield. "While we've had great success marketing and selling security for telephony over the past few years, the advent of new Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies has really accelerated the growth of our market. Whereas voice security might have been considered a 'nice-to-have' by some in the past, security protections are now a clear requirement for proper deployment of corporate VoIP."

Fast 500 Selection and Qualifications
The Fast 500 list is compiled from Deloitte's 15 regional North American Fast 50 lists, nominations submitted directly to the Fast 500, and public company database research. To qualify for the Fast 500, entrants must have had 2000 operating revenues of at least $50,000 USD or $75,000 CD for the United States and Canada, respectively, and 2004 operating revenues of at least $1 million USD or CD.
Entrants must be headquartered in North America and must be a "technology company," defined as a company that owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify.
