Siemens Finance & Leasing and iTeam Systemhauskooperation reach a cooperation agreement21 July 2005
iTeam Systemhauskooperation GmbH & Co. KG, a joint venture of 373 IT and telecommunication system houses across Germany, and Siemens Finance & Leasing GmbH (SF&L) have agreed on a long-term cooperation agreement. As a result, all iTeam partners will be able to offer their customers financing solu-tions from one of Germany's leading providers of equipment leasing in a pack-age with technology solutions from any hardware and software producer.
As part of this cooperation, iTeam will introduce Siemens Finance & Leasing as a strategic leasing associate to its partners. "The cooperation with Siemens Finance & Leasing markedly broadens our financing programs to our partners. Siemens Fi-nance & Leasing attracted a lot attention last year with its activities in the small-ticket, and IT and telecommunication market ( ICT ) as well as its online leasing solution – we want to offer our system houses access to this expertise," Rüdiger Sievers, managing director of iTeam, says in explaining the reasons behind this arrangement.
Andy Swadlo, head of Siemens Finance & Leasing, calls the partnership with iTeam a milestone, in particular in the small-ticket business that he manages: "We are pleased to be able to enter into a cooperative agreement with one of the leading system house ventures in Germany. Over the coming months, iTeam and Siemens Finance & Leasing will organize a series of informative events for iTeam partners across Germany. Siemens Finance & Leasing's "capaxx" online leasing solution will play a central role in the presentation of the product and service portfolio. capaxx e-Leasing enables all SF&L sales partners – now including iTeam's more than 370 partners – to create leasing offers up to a volume of 125,000 EUR over the Internet. Thanks to sophisticated user guidance, the creation of leasing offers does not presuppose any expert knowledge. An integrated scoring system with access to the database of the Creditreform agency generally enables credit decisions to be made within a minute. Bank inquiries and audits are no longer required. In addition, all the necessary documentation is completed online and printed out.
Christian Foltyn, the Key Account Director at Siemens Finance & Leasing responsi-ble for supporting the iTeam partners, regards capaxx as a decisive factor in sales success: "capaxx gives the iTeam partners a trump card: The nearly instantaneous credit decision at the point of sale can have a positive effect on the customer's investment decision."
