The award gives special recognition to school districts that perform admirably in providing leadership and communication to lead their staff, parents and communities in crisis situations.
This year, NTI recognized three school districts for their leadership through communications during the recent devastating weather-related crises by presenting the "Award of Honor in Hurricane Communications -- Grace Under Fire."
