Universal Communication Systems, Inc. Secures $2.5 Million in New Corporate Funding; Company to Announce Major Plans for Expansion Shortly20 February 2006
Universal Communication Systems, Inc.(OTC BB: UCSY) company chairman and CEO, Michael J. Zwebner announced todaythat the company has successfully secured $2.5 million in new financing inthe form of convertible debt from a consortium of investors. The fundingwill be done in two major traunch's, half upon the execution of thetransaction documents, and the second upon the effectiveness of aregistration statement to be filed with the S.E.C. The company plans toprepare and file the registration statement within 60 days. A furtherannouncement relating to this proposed financing will be made soon.
