UTStarcom to Exhibit Its Complete Broadband, Wireless, FMC, and Handset Portfolio at TelecomNEXT22 March 2006
UTStarcom, Inc. (Nasdaq: UTSI), a global leader in IP-based, end-to-end networking solutions and services, today announced that the company will display its comprehensive line of broadband, wireless, and Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) solutions, and complete handset portfolio at TelecomNEXT. UTStarcom will exhibit at the show in Booth# 2127 from March 21-22 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

UTStarcom also plans to exhibit for the first time a mobile CDMA communications system in its Emergency Response Communications Vehicle. In addition, the company will have live demonstrations of its MovingMedia(TM) 2000 all-IP CDMA2000 wireless infrastructure solution; its IP-based Personal Access System (iPAS(TM)) solution; its F1000G portable WiFi handset running over its IP-based mSwitch(R) softswitch platform; and its RollingStream(TM) end-to-end Television over IP (IPTV) solution over its Gigabit Ethernet Passive Optical Network (GEPON) solution. The IPTV implementation UTStarcom will demonstrate over GEPON is also deployed in the field via the company's complete access platform portfolio, including its IP DSLAM family of products.
UTStarcom Presents IPTV in Asia Paper
Brian Caskey, vice president of worldwide marketing, will present "IPTV in Asia: Lessons Learned from Real Deployments in China and Japan" in the TelecomNEXT Papers Program on Sunday, March 19 at 4:20 p.m. PST.
Caskey will share UTStarcom's experiences in Asia from technologies and network topologies with large-scale subscriber deployments with China Telecom and Softbank BB.
