Verizon Extends Environmental Commitment and AT&T Upgrading Network

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) is upgrading its network services in Los Angeles County, adding a multi-service optical network ring, increasing network reliability and flexibility. The MON ring will include multiple gigabit ethernet and fibre channel circuits and will connect the county's primary and secondary data centers on a single network. AT&T will also manage the network. U.S. Starcom, Inc, (Other OTC:USTA) announced recently that it has signed on a highly anticipated acquisition of Infinite Technology Group, Inc. of Bethpaige, New York. Established in 1991, Infinite Tech is a broad-based supplier of information technologies and other technical services to a variety of Fortune 100 companies.
