Wisor Launches PortQual(TM) Service for Telecom Carriers17 November 2005
Wisor Telecom Corporation, a leading OSS solutions vendor and provider of outsourced order and provisioning services, announced today the availability of their new PortQual Service, the first real-time service of its kind to allow providers to easily verify the portability of a subscriber's wireline phone number at the time of initial order entry by identifying line ownership and barriers to a successful port from one carrier to another. In just a few seconds, the result of the search is returned with straight-forward information about the number's porting eligibility as well as existing service features that may impede the ability to port the number. If PortQual identifies an issue preventing successful completion of the order, the reason(s) and suggested remedies are delivered to the user. The service is readily adaptable for real time applications, delivering order information while the customer is still on the line. "When porting a number, things can go wrong.
